2. Data handled by the app
Local journey data
Alcohol-free days, drinking days, quantities, notes, goals, reminder times, and savings-estimate settings are stored locally on your device. We cannot access this content. There is no user account and no app server operated by us.
Widgets
To support widgets, the app stores a limited progress snapshot in the operating system’s private app-group container. It is used only between the app and its widget and is not accessible to other apps.
Purchases through Apple
Apple processes Pro purchases through StoreKit. The app only checks whether a valid yearly-subscription or lifetime-purchase entitlement exists. We do not receive payment details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to Apple’s processing.
Local reminders
If you enable reminders, the operating system schedules local notifications on your device. Their text does not mention alcohol. No push token is sent to us.
CSV exports
An export happens only when you start it. The app creates a CSV file locally and passes it to the operating system’s share sheet. The privacy terms of the destination you choose then apply.
Deletion
You can delete all app data from Settings. Pro purchases remain restorable through your Apple Account.
3. Visiting this website
This website is delivered from a virtual server managed by us at Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When a page is requested, technically necessary connection data—particularly the IP address, time, requested resource, transferred data volume, browser identifier, and operating system—must be processed temporarily to deliver the content and secure the connection.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable, and reliable operation of the website. The web server does not keep a persistent application-level access log. Security and error data is processed only where necessary for operation and abuse prevention. The required data-processing agreement is in place with Hetzner.
4. No analytics, advertising, or cookies
We use no web analytics, advertising networks, tracking pixels, external fonts, embedded third-party media, or nonessential cookies. The website has no contact form and no newsletter.
5. Contact by email
If you email us, we process your email address, message, and any other information you provide to answer your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual matters and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Messages are deleted when no longer needed, unless statutory retention duties apply.
6. Recipients and transfers
Recipients may include the technical providers described above where required for hosting, email communication, or App Store purchases. We do not otherwise disclose or sell your data or use it to create advertising profiles. Apple may process information outside the European Economic Area under its own terms.
7. Your rights
Where we process your personal data, the GDPR may give you rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. You may also complain to a data-protection authority, particularly the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
Because app entries are never sent to us, we cannot view or change them. You manage and delete them directly in the app.
8. Changes
We will update this policy if features, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available at this URL.
